{"id":1118,"date":"2026-02-24T20:14:58","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:14:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.cis.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1118"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:14:58","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:14:58","slug":"a-researcher-from-the-center-for-strategic-and-international-studies-participates-in-the-defense-of-a-doctoral-dissertation-on-u-s-strategy-and-the-international-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.cis.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1118","title":{"rendered":"A Researcher from the Center for Strategic and International Studies Participates in the Defense of a Doctoral Dissertation on U.S. Strategy and the International System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Sakkal Majalla';\"><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Sakkal Majalla'; font-style: normal;\">Media and Government Communication Unit<\/span><\/em><i><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between research centers and corresponding academic colleges, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Kadhem Abbas, a researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, participated as a member of the doctoral dissertation defense committee for the dissertation entitled <em>&#8220;<\/em><em>The Strategy of the United States toward the Russian\u2013Ukrainian War after 2014 and Its Impact on the International System.&#8221;\u00a0 <\/em>The defense was held at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Sakkal Majalla';\">The dissertation defense took place in the presence of the supervising academic committee. Dr. Mohammed Kadhem Abbas made a distinguished and substantive scholarly contribution to the discussion of the dissertation\u2019s core themes, as well as to the evaluation of its scientific and methodological dimensions and the findings reached by the study.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16.0pt; font-family: 'Sakkal Majalla';\">This participation reaffirms the leading academic role of researchers at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in supporting the scholarly rigor of postgraduate studies.
