Under the patronage of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, and under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Taresh Abdul Reda the respected Center, the Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad held its twenty-third annual scientific conference under the title “Strategic Dimensions of Iraq’s Openness to its Regional Environment”. The conference witnessed wide participation of researchers, academics and politicians from various government institutions.<\/p>\n

The conference, which was opened by Dr. Asaad Taresh Abdul Redha, included in his speech, in which he pointed out the importance of the role of research centers in providing valuable studies and research to government institutions in light of the continuous developments in the Middle East and the world.
