The Department of Strategic Studies at the Center held a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Strategic Decision-Making.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Basim Ali Khrisan, a researcher and academic at the center.<\/p>\n

The workshop provided an in-depth study of artificial intelligence (AI), which is defined as a technology that simulates human intelligence and has the ability to learn and adapt through data analysis. The term was coined by John McCarthy in 1955, who defined AI as \u201cthe science and engineering of making intelligent machines.\u201d<\/em> With the advancement of this field, AI has come to include deep learning and neural networks, enabling\u00a0 it\u00a0 to surpass human intelligence in certain tasks, according to AI expert Geoffrey Hinton.<\/p>\n

Types of Artificial Intelligence:<\/p>\n

  1. Narrow AI (Weak AI): Designed to perform specific tasks, such as facial recognition or natural language processing.<\/li>\n
  2. General AI: Possesses intelligence comparable to that of the human mind, capable of learning and executing various cognitive tasks.<\/li>\n
  3. Super AI: Exceeds human intelligence in all cognitive and intellectual aspects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Role of AI in Strategic Decision-Making:<\/p>\n

    • Employing advanced algorithms to reduce human errors and enhance the speed and efficiency of decision-making.<\/li>\n
    • Processing large-scale data at high speeds to generate real-time insights.<\/li>\n
