{"id":806,"date":"2025-06-18T09:13:41","date_gmt":"2025-06-18T09:13:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.cis.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=806"},"modified":"2025-06-18T09:14:20","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T09:14:20","slug":"our-centers-public-policy-department-is-organizing-a-panel-discussion-on-financial-and-administrative-corruption-concept-and-treatments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.cis.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=806","title":{"rendered":"Our Center&#8217;s Public Policy Department is organizing a panel discussion on &#8220;Financial and Administrative Corruption: Concept and Treatments.&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Government Media and Communication Unit<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The Public Policy Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific discussion panel titled &#8220;Financial and Administrative Corruption: Concept and Treatments,&#8221; presented by Assistant Lecture \u00a0Raad Khadir Salibi, a researcher and academic at the Center.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The episode addressed the phenomenon of administrative and financial corruption, which is considered one of the most serious challenges facing contemporary societies, given its direct impact on weakening institutional structures, wasting resources, and undermining citizens&#8217; confidence in state institutions.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The researcher pointed out that corruption is not limited to the economic aspect alone, but extends to encompass political and social dimensions, as it contributes to legitimizing networks of interests, manipulating elections, and reproducing power by corrupt elites.
