{"id":935,"date":"2025-10-15T07:22:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T07:22:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.cis.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=935"},"modified":"2025-10-15T07:22:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T07:22:14","slug":"the-center-for-strategic-and-international-studies-at-the-university-of-baghdad-explores-iraqs-role-in-the-development-road-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.cis.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=935","title":{"rendered":"The Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad Explores Iraq\u2019s Role in the Development Road Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, President of the University of Baghdad the Center for Strategic and International Studies convened its second quarterly symposium, entitl \u201c<em>Iraq\u2019s Role in the Development Road Project: Reality and Aspiration<\/em>\u201d, held at Al-Hurriya Hall in the College of Political Science.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><strong>Supervised by the Center\u2019s Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Abdul-Hamza Thjeel, the symposium examined the principal challenges and opportunities confronting Iraq within the framework of implementing the Development Road Project, which aspires to position the country as a central economic and logistical hub linking Asia and Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The scientific sessions featured the presentation of over eighteen research papers by faculty members and researchers from the University of Baghdad and a number of research institutions.
