Dr. Khalid Tariq Abdul Razzaq, researcher and academic in the Department of Strategic Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies – University of Baghdad, gave a scientific lecture at the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage (the role of social awareness to combat human trafficking), which witnessed the participation of researchers and academics from colleges and scientific departments at the university.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Khaled Tariq, included a discussion of the phenomenon of human trafficking, which is an international phenomenon that was not limited to a country, but extended to include most countries, including Iraq, and has become of a commercial nature in several forms that cannot be counted, most notably trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, removal of human organs, or for the purpose of conducting medical experiments, the implementation of forced labor, begging and others.
