The Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad offers several activities to serve the community in various fields through the establishment of awareness and training courses and lectures through the Continuing Education Unit within the Center, in addition to seminars and lectures delivered by researchers within various state institutions and with civil society institutions and unions in a way that enhances the role of society and in several areas to develop individual citizens from different social groups on issues of citizenship, human rights and the promotion of democracy as well as with regard to minority rights and awareness on the occasion of Extremist ideas in addition to lectures to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and addiction and its impact on society and community cohesion through the Center holding several seminars in this regard.
The center also contributed to several activities related to the development of women’s rights, as well as several activities on educational and health policies, and these recommendations and the outputs of these activities were sent to the sectoral authorities.
