The Center’s Quality Assurance Unit participated in a workshop organized by the University Quality Assurance and Performance Department at the University of Baghdad Presidency, in cooperation with the Institutional Performance Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Titled “Clarifying the Procedures for Using the Performance Evaluation Forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Year,” the workshop was held in Al-Hakim Hall at the University Presidency.
The program included a lecture by Prof. Dr. Ali Khalil Dhiban, Director of the Institutional Performance Evaluation Department at the Ministry. He reviewed the principal updates and revisions made to this year’s evaluation forms and discussed how the Ministry and the University can coordinate to streamline the review of files and avoid technical obstacles during the evaluation process.
The workshop concluded that permanent, direct channels of communication should be opened with the Ministry’s Institutional Performance Evaluation Department, so that progress can be monitored and any unforeseen obstacles resolved immediately. It also called for all new developments and updates presented at the workshop to be circulated to faculty and administrative staff, and stressed that university units must adhere to the set deadlines and complete evaluations without delay.
The Center’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to keeping pace with the Ministry’s latest regulations and directives and to applying the most current comprehensive quality standards, in order to raise the scholarly, academic, and administrative level of the Center’s staff.
