As part of the intellectual and scholarly contributions of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ahmed Mohammed, a researcher at the Center, presents a new analytical article titled “China’s Policy Toward Religions and Ethnic Groups: From Heritage Preservation to Strengthening Security and Comprehensive National Development.”
The article examines the dimensions of China’s Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress, along with the state’s effort to strike a balance between national unity and ethnic diversity, on the one hand, and economic modernization, on the other. It highlights several principal themes, foremost among them the transition from general policy to legal framework-building and shared development as the foundation for unity, the construction of a common identity, and social integration.
The article reflects the Center’s sustained commitment to supplying decision-makers and public-affairs stakeholders with strategic perspectives and rigorous analysis, with the aim of enriching the discourse on contemporary issues.
