The Department of Public Policy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad held a panel discussion entitled “Government Effort to Combat Drugs” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Riyad Abdul Ibrahim, Head of the Department and researchers.
The panel discussion presented by Dr. Riyad Abd Ibrahim included a discussion of the phenomenon of the spread of drugs, which has become a threat to community security, which is the result of several factors, including economic, social, psychological and political.
The seminar discussed, socialization, which plays an important role in this direction, as the environmental and moral upbringing has the greatest degree in influencing this issue.
