Media and Government Communication Unit
The Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad received a delegation from the Engineering Department of the Presidency of the Republic, headed by Dr. Saad Al-Rawi. The delegation was welcomed by the Director of the Center, Professor Dr. Saad Ubaid Al-Saeedi. This visit comes within the framework of strengthening channels of communication between academic institutions and executive bodies within the Iraqi government. An expanded meeting was held, during which the role of the Center and the nature of its work were discussed, particularly its contribution to supporting government institutions through rigorous academic research and strategic studies that inform and support decision-making processes.
The two sides also exchanged views on avenues for joint cooperation and discussed service-related and engineering aspects through which scientific expertise can be effectively employed in the service of the public interest.
The visiting delegation commended the efforts exerted by the Director of the Center and its researchers, emphasizing the importance of sustaining such visits to reinforce the foundations of institutional work in Iraq.
