As part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between research centers and corresponding academic colleges, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Kadhem Abbas, a researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, participated as a member of the doctoral dissertation defense committee for the dissertation entitled The Strategy of the United States toward the Russian–Ukrainian War after 2014 and Its Impact on the International System.”  The defense was held at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad.

The dissertation defense took place in the presence of the supervising academic committee. Dr. Mohammed Kadhem Abbas made a distinguished and substantive scholarly contribution to the discussion of the dissertation’s core themes, as well as to the evaluation of its scientific and methodological dimensions and the findings reached by the study.

This participation reaffirms the leading academic role of researchers at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in supporting the scholarly rigor of postgraduate studies. It also reflects the Center’s policy of academic engagement and openness toward educational institutions, with the aim of exchanging research expertise on contemporary strategic issues.
