The Public Policy Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies convened a workshop entitled “The Strategic Dimensions of the 2025 Baghdad Arab Summit,” presented by Associate Professor Riyadh Abed Ibrahim.
The workshop offered a comprehensive analytical reading of the outcomes of the Thirty-Fourth Arab Summit, hosted by Baghdad on May 17, 2025. The summit brought together high-level participation from leaders of most Arab states, in addition to the presence of international actors attending as observers in support of broader regional stability.
The workshop was attended by a number of researchers and academics who enriched the discussion through their interventions on the role of research centers in analyzing and shaping public policy in ways that correspond with Iraq’s evolving diplomatic landscape.
